Henke is a tall and angular junior infielder from Indiana with good physical projection. He showed nice defensive actions in the middle of the field with good glove work and strong fundamentals with his feet. Henke’s release is quick and his arm strength plays better than his 76 mph infield throw velocities. He projects well as a defensive third baseman as he gets bigger and stronger. At the plate, Henke hits from a wide stance with a deep static load. He makes good, consistent contact at the plate and showed some power potential in game action. Henke will benefit from his potential future strength gains at the plate. He is a very good student.
