Lucas Halstead is a 2014 C/OF, RHP with a 6-3 226 lb. frame from Alamo, CA who attends Monte Vista. XL frame, strong physical build, looks the part. Has shown big time raw power in the past and has been working on making an adjustment to learn to use the entire field, still a work in progress but showed power to the opposite field gap in BP, which is a positive step in the right direction. Crushed a double over the left fielder's head in game action for a double as well. If he can continue to improve he has a chance to become an impact prospect. Good student, named to top prospect list, verbal commitment to Pacific.
