Bryan Abis is a 2007 OF/1B/LHP from Arlington Country Day HS in Jacksonville, FL, with an athletic 5'11", 170 lb. frame. At the plate Bryan shows good balance that produces a sound swing and the ability to turn on the ball well. Bryan is projectable at the plate and should only see his power improve. In the field Bryan shows a solid arm with smooth actions. Bryan has smooth mechanics on the mound that produces a short arm circle, sharp 2 to 8 CB, and keeps the ball around the plate.
