Erin Baldwin is a 2014 RHP with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Alfred M. Barbe HS. Young very slender build, minimal present strength but lots of room to fill out. Back turn delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front with big downhill angle to his pitches. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher. Mixes in occasional slider with short break. Throws strikes and works ahead in the count, lots of swing/miss on balls in the zone so there is some deception there. Improvement of off speed and increased strength are keys to development.
