2004 Underclass National Showcase
Wes Dravis -- Dravis is a slender 6 foot right hander from Texas who is in his junior year. He showed us some good arm strength, pitching at 81-83 mph for 3 innings, topping at 85 mph. Dravis throws from a high ¾’s to overhand release point, which made his fastball a bit straight. He also threw a 62-65 mph curveball. He has solid athletic ability and some projection. He also swung the bat well, making good consistent contact with a level, easy swing. Keep an eye on this junior.
