Trent Stevenson is a 5'10" 125 pound 2009 infielder from Scottsdale, Arizona who attends Brophy College Prep. He has a lean undeveloped body with room for added muscle. Trent has good hands and footwork with the mobility to play the middle. His arm strength is good with a short release and good carry. He threw 76 mph across the infield during the workout. He has good instincts and awareness to make routine plays in the field. Stevenson is a contact type hitter who has a compact swing. He hits with a wide base and stands upright with some good bat speed. He is a spray hitter who hits the ball to all fields with regularity. Trent is a young kid who will add to his all around game as he gets stronger.
