Patton had some of the nastiest stuff on the mound in any age bracket. He is a good lefty with a lightening fast arm and showed 2 plus pitches. He had a high 80’s fastball that topped out at 90 mph. It has plus life and comes from a low ¾ arm slot with a whip arm action. His slurve is also a plus pitch with a big break that we saw called for strikes to lefties jumping out of the box. He is one of the top 2004 prospects in the Nation.
