Thomas Chase is a 2008 MIF from Boston College HS, residing in Cohasset, Massachusetts, with a 5'10"/174 pound frame. Thomas has a lean frame. He hits from a straight stance with a knee lift trigger. Chase has a no stride approach with solid bat speed at the plate. He is a line drive hitter and he stays inside the ball well. Thomas has soft hands in the infield with a good glove. He has a quick release at 75 mph and good feet and range defensively. As he gets stronger and quicker, Thomas will improve in all phases of the game. Chase is an excellent student.
