Bryce Dyrda is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Oakdale, CA who attends Oakdale HS. Thick athletic frame, very good present strength. High energy delivery, fast arm, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 93 mph, mostly straight without much plane, best pitch was a sharp 12/6 curveball that was nasty at times when spotted, confident in curveball and can add/subtract on velocity and shape, developing change up. maintained velocity and stuff well from the stretch. Good athlete and potential two-way prospect, right handed hitter, big rock back load, swings hard, good bat speed with quick hands to the ball, hard line drive contact. 6.97 runner, showed his arm strength from the outfield, can improve working through the ball. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Southern California.
