Garrett Foster is a 2013 SS/C/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Ardmore, OK who attends Plainview HS. Slender young middle infielder's build, room to get stronger. Versatile defensive player, can play all over the field and has caught in the past, 7.13 runner, moves well defensively, quick charge, good footwork and soft hands in the infield, quick release, can improve front side throwing mechanics for more arm strength, similar actions defensively in the outfield. Right handed hitter, low hand start, short hand path to the ball, simple swing approach, stays calm and balanced and squares up, line drive contact, will continue to improve with additional strength.
