Connor McMann is a 2014 RHP/3B/1B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Liberty Christian HS. Thick strong build, fairly mature physically. Slow paced deliberate delivery, stays on line, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Slurve type breaking ball, tends to get on the side of it, sweeping 10/4 shape with occasional depth, slows arm on change up. Has two-way potential as a power hitting first baseman, right handed hitter with strength and the ability to pull and lift the ball, good barrel and shows hand/eye coordination, will hit some home runs. Very good student, verbal commitment to West Virginia.
