James Morisano is a 2014 C with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Staten Island Academy. Tall athletic build, very good present strength. Strong arm behind the plate, medium length arm action, can improve quickness on release, 2.00 best pop time, good hands receiving, some lower half quickness. Right handed hitter, very spread stance, limited shift, tends to stay over back side, long powerful swing, some present gap power, can backspin the ball, has hitting/power potential with adjustments. Good student.
