Danny Blair is a 2015 OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Bel Air, MD who attends IMG Academy. Compact strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. 6.73 runner, shows good range and routes in centerfield, covers ground and is quick to the ball, some arm strength with good on line carry and accuracy. Left handed hitter, polished leadoff tools, very patient hitter who sees the ball and consistently works deep into counts, hits from an open stance, rotational upper body swing, has strength and creates bat speed, short quick swing, ball comes off his barrel well, gap power. High performance player. Good student, verbal commitment to South Carolina.
