Sean Ray is a 2006 left handed pitcher from Virginia Beach, VA with a medium athletic build at 6-0, 175 lbs. He has a high leg kick delivery and a quick, compact arm action with some effort on release. He maintains good balance through his delivery and has good direction to the plate. Ray's change up is around 75 mph with good sink and running action. Ray is around the strike zone with all his pitches and mixes things up well. His curveball is his best pitch and he knows how to set up hitters for it. Ray has been a successful pitcher for a long time and fits the profile as the crafty lefty who can win with less than average pure velocity because of all the other parts of his game. Ray is a good student who should make an excellent college southpaw.
