Sean Kelly is a 2007 RHP with a 6'6'', 190 lb. frame from Alpharetta GA, who attends Milton HS. He has a very tall, lanky body and minimal present strength. Kelly throws from a deliberate mechanical delivery and opens his front side very early, causing his arm to drag behind his body. Kelly's release point is extended mid 3/4's, which gives his 75-78 mph fastball very good running action at times. Kelly stays tall in his delivery and works downhill despite his mid level release point. His breaking ball is a flat, short slider at 68 mph and he also threw a couple of 72 mph change ups. Kelly mixes his pitches well and nothing he throws is straight. He has more velocity in his arm if he can stay closed better and let his long arm catch up with his lower body. Kelly is a very good student.
