Ryan Rand is a 2012 OF/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek HS. Tall slender build, very athletic actions, projects physically. 6.64 runner, long easy strides, runs hard, speed plays. Left handed thrower, on line accurate throws from the outfield, good footwork, easy actions, also plays first base with same athleticism. Right handed hitter, busy approach with hand hitch, has quick hands, gets the barrel out, aggressive approach, flashes bat speed, looks to pull, has hitting tools to develop with more strength. Good player to dream on, has a high ceiling athletically. Good student.
