Grant Fennell is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Scripps Ranch HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, deep load, bent knee stance, limited weight shift, some backside collapse, has raw bat speed but not working through ball well, can improve with adjustments. 6.95 runner, athletic footwork especially to the back hand, has arm strength with smooth low angle release, solid defensive player. Also pitches, two-way prospect, high 3/4's arm slot, simple repeatable delivery, upper 80's fastball topped out at 89 mph, good life at times, soft curveball and have seen with better spin. Good student.
