Andrew Eppenbach is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Claremont, CA who attends Bishop Amat HS. Slender athletic build, good physical projection. Tall delivery, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, lands open with his front side, good loose arm coming through. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, lots of fastball velocity variance, works the outside corner to right hand hitters well, good run/sink at times. curveball with fair spin and good 11/5 depth at times, will have to develop more power to his curveball, some developing feel for change up. Right handed hitter, spread stance, deep load, long rotational swing, line drive swing plane, has some raw bat speed, 7.13 runner. Good overall athlete who projects to keep improving. Good student, verbal commitment to San Diego State.
