Jacob Braun is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Wayzata, MN who attends Providence Academy. Large Projectable frame, lean athletic build. Throws downhill from the outfield, has arm strength, fields ball well, moves feet to the ball. At the plate starts upright, slightly open, wide base, toe-tap trigger, high back elbow, high hands, contact approach at the plate, shows bat speed, gets good extension, goes to the opposite field well. On the mound throws from an extended 3/4 arm slot, short arm action, short in back, throws his curveball at 67mph. Is a good student.
