Charlie Cody is a 2014 3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Great Bridge HS. Long, athlete infielder with quick twitch actions and plus speed. Ran a 6.62 60 yard dash. Displays good hands and enough arm strength to make plays to his backhand side, works through the ball well and is fundamentally sound. Impressive, high upside defender. Hits right-handed, works from a high hand set, upright stance. Uses a buggy whip in his load and shows fast hands through the zone. Uses his lower half well and produces hard line drives. Very good student, has a verbal commitment to Virginia.
