Ryan McCullers is a 2014 C/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Jesuit HS. Compact stocky build, very good present strength. Good balanced set up defensively, has quick feet and compact actions, strong accurate arm, polished defensive actions, very good game throws, 1.80 pop in drills, 2.00 in games, threw out runners with ease. Right handed hitter, strength in his hands, pull approach, good bat speed with some looseness out front., can get a bit rotational and long at times but handled velocity well. Solid all around player with good actions. Son of former MLB right hander Lance McCullers.
