Tommy DeJuneas is a 2014 2B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends HS. Angular athletic build, some strength but much more in the future. Versatile defensive player, 6.86 runner, light on his feet in the infield with quick actions and good range, very good arm strength from both the infield and outfield, can improve his release and exchange quickness, primary second baseman but has left side infield tools. Right handed hitter, good lower half use, busy load but quick hands to the ball, long out front, line drive swing plane, ball comes off the barrel well, some gap power, projects with the bat with additional strength. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina State.
