Cole Ferguson is a 2011 C/1B, 3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Salem, OR who attends North Salem. Ferguson has a big and strong frame, very durable build with a broad chest and shoulders. Great target behind the plate and works hard back there, surprising fast twitch athleticism for a player his size, get to his feet quickly and gets rid of it. Good catch and throw skills and arm strength, throws carry to the bag. Slightly open stance at the plate, show good batspeed and swing mechanics. Stays balanced and drives the ball, good use of lower half and has pop. High level follow. Good student.
