Matthew Agvent is a 2012 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Marist HS. Mediium frame, long slender projectable build. Multiple arm slots, varies all the way from high 3/4's for his curveball to side arm at times for his fastball, would benefit settling on one slot. Fastball topped at 75 mph, big arm side run at times, slurve type breaking ball at low 3/'4's, good downer shape on higher release CB. Nice fade on change up. Stays down well, hard to square up against. Pitching with injured leg, have seen up to 81 mph earlier in the summer. Patient hitter, stays back well, short swing, squares up well. Very good student.
