Jason Gallacchi is a 2012 C/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Latham, NY who attends Shaker. Medium build with some room to fill. Developing catch and throw skills behind the plate. Stands up to throw, gains some ground with feet. Catches the ball easily. Has some arm strength, throws had some tail on them. Will benefit from quicker footwork and more compact actions. Square stance, slightly open at the plate. Rotational swing with loose swing actions. Gets hands to ball with a line drive stroke. Ball comes off well. Potential at the plate. Good student.
