Gomez is a switch-hitting outfielder from Puerto Rico who has some juice in his bat, especially from the left side. He generates good bat speed and has some natural loft in his swing. He hit one rocket over the right fielder’s head that was especially impressive. At 6-1, 178 lbs, Gomez has a solid body but the kind of frame that can add some strength in the future to give him even more power potential. Gomez is a 7.5 runner in the 60 whose arm projects him to left field in the future. The bat plays big, so left field and 1st base are good possibilities.
