Weglarz is a 2005 1B/RHP from Stevensville, ON, Can with a 6'3"/215 pound body and is one of the top players in the northeast. He can flat out mash showing one of the best approaches and strongest swings of the event. His home run in the game was the most impressive of the weekend. He has huge bat speed with good bat control. At 1B, he showed good feel and instincts around the bag, and soft hands as he picked many balls out of the dirt. He has good arm strength topping out at 81 mph across the infield. He has a MLB body and he projects in a big way. Probably the top Canadian 05! Nick is an excellent student.
