We’ve seen Reilly frequently over the past year, he swung the bat as good as ever in Fort Myers. He showed a crisp line drive stroke both in batting practice and in games and demonstrated more power than we’ve seen in him before. Reilly’s a hard worker and we’d bet that he’s been sticking to a good off-season strengthening program since we last saw him. Reilly has live athletic actions in the field and ran a strong 6.91. He may end up at second base defensively or possibly even in the outfield. His arm stroke was a little longer and looser than it has been and his quickness and offensive potential will play well at most positions. Reilly is a very good student who has signed to attend Richmond. His tools are MLB borderline, but his playability ranks very high. He has a great feel for the game.
