James Hanson is a 2010 1B/OF with a 6'3'', 215 lb. frame from Cape May, NJ who attends Lower Cape May HS. Big strong build, athletic and agile around 1B bag, good footwork, big target, soft hands scooping ball, stays balanced, arm limits to 1B. Left handed hitter, open stance, hand drop load, lift in swing, tends to hit under ball, ball comes off hard on contact, tends to look opposite field often, hitting tools to develop. Good student.
