Sam Howard is a 2011 LHP with a 6-3 155 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville HS. Long lean lanky build, room to add strength. Smooth mechanics, minimal effort, ball comes out of his hand well. Fastball topped at 85 mph, plenty more there with maturity, good command of fastball, mostly straight with occ running life, will throw inside. Hard mid 70's slurve type curveball, good sharpness at times, nice change up with good arm speed. Should continue to improve. Good student.
