William Penn Murfee is a 2013 SS/3B/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Montgomery Bell Academy. Tall slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.74 runner, smooth infield actions, moves well laterally and has range, quick balanced feet, soft hands, quick compact release with low arm angle, good feel overall defensively. Right handed hitter, open bent knee stance, low hand start, smooth line drive swing, best contact when pulling, has some swing looseness, will continue to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, low 80's fastball, big breaking curveball. Projects well physically. Outstanding student.
