2008 National Underclass - Main Event
Damian Phillips is a 2010 OF with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Bonaire, GA who attends Houston County HS. Large athletic build, projectable strength. Very good defensive tools, clean actions to the ball, good arm strength, long loose arm action. Open stance, low hands, power approach, long powerful swing with lift/extended finish, attacks pitches, showed power in games, smoked a couple of balls for extra base hits, raw swing but definite power potential. Good student.
