Marcus Rose is a 2005 live bodied middle infielder from Madison Heights, VA. We really liked Rose’s hitting style. He stays back on the ball very well and attacks pitches with a quick, short aggressive swing. He’s strong enough to handle wood and can get the ball to jump to all fields on contact. Defensively, Rose projects more as a second baseman, but made one diving play in the hole at shortstop that was a real eye opener. He has good actions and a lively, balanced athleticism in the field. Rose is a top college level player who could surprise some people with his bat. He's a very good runner, good all round player and Marcus is a good student.
