Manuel Garcia is a 2005 right handed pitcher from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, with an athletic 6'0", 188 lb. frame. He has a quick and loose arm that is smooth and clean. He throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with some slinging action. His fastball sat at 88-89 mph, while touching 90 mph. He overpowered hitters during his 2 innings of work striking out 5. Garcia gets lazy with his curveball at times and doesn't finish the pitch. Garcia got some movement on his change up at 77-79 mph. He worked his fastball in and out well with good command. Garcia is a very projectable pitcher who should be seen a lot by pro scouts this Spring.
