Benton Moss is a 2011 RHP with a 6-2 177 lb. frame from Enfield, NC who attends Rocky Mount HS. Nice loose athletic build, high waist, some developing strength. Big leg raise delivery, good drive to the plate, 3/4's release, long and loose arm. 88-91 mph fastball, stays behind fastball well, good consistent velocity. Very nice change up, hard late sinking action, tends to drop elbow on curveball/lower release, shows some power and bite when release stays high. Potential power arm. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
