Alec Asher is a 2010 RHP/1B with a 6'4'', 230 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland HS. Big strong body, strong lower half. Slow paced full delivery, smooth arm action, stays compact, tends to fall off a bit on release. FB steady 87-88 mph, heavy when down in the zone, SL good pitch with big sweeping break, good feel for change up, late dive on change. Very low hand set affects command from stretch, can be corrected. Three good pitches with pitchability, can improve even more with minor adjustments. Keep an eye on him. Good student.
