2005 Unsigned Seniors Showcase
Thomas is a 5-11, 175 lb outfielder from south Florida with a very strong and mature body. He took one of the best batting practices of any player at the Unsigned Showcase and showed his raw bat speed and power potential. Thomas is an aggressive hitter who tends to pull off the ball on occasion but when he squares up on it the ball jumps off his bat and he has some big extra base power. He has nice extension to his swing and good rhythm through the ball. Defensively, Thomas profiles as a corner outfielder. He ran a 7.47 60 on the slow wet track and threw 82 mph from the outfield with good carry. He's very interesting.
