Blake Logan is a 2013 C/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Muscle Shoals, AL who attends Muscle Shoals HS. Logan has a strong, athletic body. He has an even stance at the plate, slow rock-back load, quick hands, quick hips, good balance, hard contact, looks to pull and lift, mechanically sound, explosive swing, outstanding tools. He sets up low behind the plate, blocks well, receives well, agile, good footwork, good arm strength. Also pitched, side step delivery, quick arm stroke, throws strikes, curveball shows solid depth, good raw arm strength. Special young player that should be fun to follow. He is an excellent student.
