Sam Agnew-Wieland is a 2010 RHP/3B with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Wheeler HS. Tall athletic build, wide shoulders, very good strength. Long extended arm action, high 3/4's release, good arm speed, bit cross body on release. 85-88 mph fastball, some tail, locates FB well, drops elbow on SL, shows good tilt, keeps SL low, good sink on Chg. 3 potential solid pitches. Shows power at the plate, good bat speed, lift at contact. Good student.
