Jerrod Flanagan is a 2011 1B with a 6-6 210 lb. frame from St Petersburg, FL who attends Northeast. Big framed athletic build, plenty of room for more strength. Left handed hitter, tall stance, weight back in stance, big load to get bat started, contact approach, line drives to all fields, stays inside the ball, tends to hit with his hands under the ball. 7.50 runner, great target at first base, soft hands, has some raw arm strength. Projects to hit with power at the next level. Very interesting prospect that needs to be watched closely. Very good student.
