Kyle Ross is a 2008 MIF/3B from Newton North HS, residing in Newton, Massachusetts, with a 6'10"/160 pound frame. Kyle has a lean frame. He hits from a slightly open stance with a top hand release. Ross will cast his hands at times and also gets jammed. He has a line drive approach and uses the whole field. Kyle makes consistent contact at the plate. He runs well with a 6.96-60 yard time. He has short arm action in the infield with a quick release and accurate arm at 75 mph. Ross needs to be lighter and quicker on his feet in the infield, but he did show solid range defensively.
