Ricky Knapp is a 2010 RHP with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Port Charlotte, FL who attends Port Charlotte HS. Lean athletic body, plenty of projection. Full delivery with some deception, fairly fast paced, repeats delivery well. FB 85-88 mph, we've seen a little better in the past, pitches to corners. SL has big sweeping break, works SL away from RHH's, good sharpness, show me type slower CB as off speed, tends to slow arm at times on change, mixes pitches/locations very well, rarely the same pitch twice. Very good command. Father is pitching coach of the Detroit Tigers, background shows in approach. Quality of stuff steadily improving. Anything is possible here. Should end up low 90s with three/four quality pitches and command. Excellent student.
