David Drahozal is a 2007 SS/IF with a 5'8'', 160 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who attends Xavier High School. Drahozal has a lean build with life in his body. Defensively he has good balance with soft hands that will allow him to play in the middle of the diamond. Showed very good range to his right in game action, and has good body control. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who has a short and compact swing. Drahozal is a contact hitter that hits the ball to all fields. He doesn't try to do too much, he is looking to put the ball in play and make things happen. He is a very good student as well.
