Daycian Cecato is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Guelth, ON. Medium build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from tall and fall mechanics, gets down the mound quickly and will rush at times, has a compact arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, some effort at release. Fastball worked up to 77 mph with some arm side life, was around the zone with his fastball and threw strikes. Threw a low 60's curveball as his secondary pitch, gets his best bite and depth on it when he throws it hardest and stays on top.
