Trevor Rivas is a 2027 SS/3B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from La Crescenta, CA who attends La Canada High School. Features a lean/athletic frame with some projection. Ran a 7.46 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed smooth actions. Light feet play in rhythm through the baseball where he works low to the ground with soft hands that field it clean with a funnel up the belt. Used a shorter arm action that showed some armspeed and effort to release where he ran it up to 76 mph. Early signs show him being able to stay up the middle. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance with higher set hands that hold a flat bat and stay neutral throughout the load. He uses a smaller gather into his backside with a simple forward move. His bat worked on a direct path with good extension through the baseball and with avg. bat speed for his level. Used the whole field throughout his round and sprayed a couple of line drives into each gap.
