Eric Arce is a 2010 C/2B with a 5'11'', 195 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland HS. Medium frame, strong athletic build. Short sound swing, balanced approach, strength in swing, looks to pull, ball comes off bat well, will show raw bat speed and power. Hits good pitching. Has arm strength, quick feet/actions, raw receiving actions, also plays 1B and could play the outfield, 7.10 runner. PG Scout Kentaro Yasutake called him the best pro hitting prospect at the National. The bat will create some serious draft talk. Seen him even better later on. Good student, verbal to Georgia Tech
