Matthew Ardell is a 2025 SS/2B, OF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Wildwood. Smaller athletic build. Ran a 6.98 60-yard dash. Middle infielder with quick feet, fundamental footwork working through the baseball fielding, ability to move laterally to both sides and a quick release with accuracy across the diamond. Hit from a balanced stance, shows solid average bat speed through the zone with some natural lift to the swing and extension through the baseball. Showed a primary pull side approach and got to the barrel consistently showing a blend of hit and power to the profile at the plate. Outstanding student.
