Garrett Christiansen is a 2028 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Independence, MO who attends Fort Osage. Recorded a 7.83 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a long and lanky build. Quick crow-hop into the throw with some bounce. Quick and compact arm action with accurate throws to the base. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a compact delivery with an above the belt leg kick and drop and drive mechanics. High three- quarter arm slot and gets some extension out front. Controllable athletic movements in the delivery that he repeats well. Average arm speed for the age. The fastball was upper-60s to low 70s and reached 72 with some cut action. Gets downhill on the fastball well locating it at the knees to hitters. Well above average strike thrower. Developing feel for the breaking ball. Got quick outs with projectable actions. Right-handed hitter, starts from an even base and an upright square stance with a high back elbow. Quick hands through the zone with a compact swing and some barrel speed. Downhill swing path and gets the front foot down and shows some developing barrel control. Upside with projectable traits as he continues to grow.
