Nick Dale is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Casteel. Tall slender build, with room to add more. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.42 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, the fastball sat 73-80 mph topping out at 82 mph. Showed well, has a lot of potential as he gets older. Mixed in a curveball at 67 mph with slight down hill break. Also worked out at first base, worked through the ball with stiff hands, still developing footwork. Consistently made firm accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, hits from and even base with a big leg kick, displayed a direct path to the ball consistently hitting the ball up the middle. Has a linear swing with a downward hand path. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
