2006 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Alex Ross is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'4'', 180 lb. frame from Weston, MA who attends Buckingham Browne & Nichols. He has a tall, angular frame with some present strength. Alex throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long clean arm action with a nice downhill plane. His fastball has nice run, while he stays around the plate with his pitches and goes inside on hitters well. Alex has nice run and sink on his change-up and does not show a breaking ball. Alex is a strong student with projectable velocity and should see a lot of attention from some smaller colleges.
